Introduction to Poetry, Issue 68

I love when a slate of poems organically work together. This collection of poems—from first time published poets to award winning poets and writers—explore our great expanse: from the outer reaches of galaxies to the inner universe of the heart. Please enjoy the work of these fabulous poets: Katherine Inskip, Ann Schwader, Frank Hoffmann, Christina Sng, Clay Johnson, Maya Chhabra, Ann Thornfield-Long. The accompanying artwork has been selected and produced by yours truly.

I would also like to announce the Best of the Net candidates whose poems had appeared from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018, inclusive:

  • Church of the Apocalypse by Sharon Fox (Issue 63)
  • Archaeology Shannon Connor Winward (Issue 64)
  • The Patron Saint of Lost Causes Chris Castro-Rappl (Issue 64)
  • He Believes It by Katharyn Howd Machan (Issue 65)
  • To Watch the World Burn by Jason Harris (Issue 66)
  • Paul Bunyan and the Whirlwind Mountain by Gabriel Ertsgaard (Issue 66)
